Community Directory

Welcome to the Allerton Bywater Community Directory.

There are many community groups, clubs and organisations that are based in Allerton Bywater and the surrounding areas that provide many fantastic activities, events, social meets and support for the residents of our village.  This page is currently under development but we hope it will provide the necessary information for villagers to be able to find the details they need to locate and access these varied groups/activities to enrich their everyday lives.

Any groups that are based in Allerton Bywater or surrounding areas that would like to have their details on this page please contact the Parish Clerk via email:- clerk@allertonbywaterparishcouncil.gov.uk

Rainbows  At Rainbows, we welcome all girls to play, learn and have fun in a creative, safe space.  She’ll choose her way through our programme of activities for all abilities.  From getting creative with crafts, learning through games and stories, exploring indoors and out, even going on her first sleepover! It’s a wonderful world of adventure, week after week for girls aged 4 to 7.

Brownies There’s something for every girl at Brownies, and plenty of moments she’ll never forget.  Brownies is full of firsts: she might grow her first plant, bake her first cake, put up (and take down) her first tent, light her first fire, go on her first fun-packed weekend away with guiding friends for girls aged 7 to 10.

Volunteering with Girlguiding  It’s totally flexible and there’s no commitment too small.  You can volunteer in a group or use your skills behind the scenes, you don’t need any guiding experience and everyone is welcome!
